Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a signature wound of modern service and a misdiagnosed injury of past wars.
Too many veterans still struggle to access effective, timely care.
H.R. 1336, the Veterans National Traumatic Brain Injury Treatment Act, would strengthen access to innovative treatments and help ensure veterans receive pathways to recovery worthy of their service. It recommends a five-year pilot program to furnish hyperbaric oxygen therapy to veterans with TBI or PTSD.
